The American BBQ folks know what they’re doing. The ribs are smoky and tender…slowly cooked for hours, finished on the grill and slathered with a tangy-sweet ketchup-based sauce. The pulled pork was excellent as well. Succulent and shredded fine, it is served with a sweet sauce but one can opt for the more traditional south eastern treatment by using the vinegar based sauce.– Marbletex
I eat here about once a week and absolutely love it. Fair prices, good portions and great food. There is a large selection on the menu and a friendly staff. Highly recommended.— H. Stern
We all ordered something different and shared amongst the group. Everything was excellent. Ribs were meaty and tender, pulled pork, the tenderloin tips, and glazed chicken were all smoky and great. The sides were wonderful. Excellent cuke salad, crisp fresh coleslaw, and big slices of cornbread, added to the meal. The grilled corn-on-the-cob, mashed sweet potatoes were all superb. Friendly casual counter service, with all the fixings right there. Paper towels at the table…it was all perfect! Great staff, great atmosphere, great hillbilly music. Highly recommended! We will be back soon!— Karen A.
Our family loves American BBQ, and are frequent visitors there. My husband and I go to Texas often and are spoiled by the BBQ down there, but the best we’ve had in New England is definitely American BBQ. We have used them to cater numerous times and each time is better and easier than the last. The ribs, pulled pork and the brisket are wonderful. Casual and fun for the whole family!— Valleygirl13
